Intelligent Pipe & Culvert Dredging Robot
The intelligent pipe & culvert dredging robot developed independently by China ENFI is mainly to solve the difficulties in dredging and detection of underground full-load drainage pipes (culverts). The dredging robot can be operated totally under water and can be equipped with sonar, turbid water camera and other equipment for determining underwater silt conditions and realizing automated operation. During dredging process with the robot, there’s no need for workers to go down the wells, excavate roads and cut off water flow, the mud produced can be directly treated without landing, which have minimized the impact on the ground environment and reduced the maintenance cost of pipe network.
  • Specification & Series:The robot can be customized according to actual dredging needs.
  • Processing Capacity:The SDR-001 dredging robot has a capacity of about 40m³/h, its single continuous operation length can reach 100m. The final solid obtained contains moisture of less than 80%.
  • Application Fields:The robot can be used for dredging of dam, water pool, municipal underground pipes and culverts. The SDR-001 dredging robot is applicable for the underground rectangle pipes and culverts or water pools with an internal dimension of 2m*1.8m or 1.5m*1.8m. The robot can be customized for use in other cases.

Advantages & Features
  • Hydraulic-driven caterpillar chassis is adopted, which has small pressure intensity, good stability and large traction force.
  • The front working mechanism is designed with a spiral structure, which can adapt to complex working conditions and improve the working efficiency of slurry pump.
  • Designed as totally sealed, applicable for underwater work.
Working Principle
When entering underground pipe culverts, the robot first crushes the compacted silt and inclusions with the front spiral blade, then pushes the silt to the suction inlet of the slurry pump. The silt and sewage are then pumped through the slurry pipe to the rear treating equipment on the ground for screening and silt-water separation.
