Reciprocating Ropeway

Reciprocating ropeway is one of the two major types of passenger aerial ropeway, and it is an important type of ropeway. Its operation mode is that there is one carriage or a group of carriages on both sides of the line, and the carriages on both sides run relative to each other along their respective carrying ropes under the traction of ropes. When one carriage moves from the lower station to the upper station, the other carriage moves from the upper station to the lower station.

Working Principle

The ropeway has two kinds of wire ropes: carrying rope and traction rope. The former is equivalent to the track of the carriage. The carriage is fixed on the traction rope by rope clamp, and the traction rope is driven by driving machine, so as to drive the carriage through carrying rope and transport tourists back and forth.
